Top Gear style film - Porsche Boxster S

This once again combines my love of film and cars. Unlike my Golf TDI film I was actually able to record and use the audio as the Boxster engine makes a lovely sound.

Thanks 🙂 You’re absolutely right, you do need at least two people for this really, unless you just lock off the cam on tripod, jump in the car and drive past 😉

If you do have a go, post a video response here if you like. I’d be really interested to see how it goes 🙂

spectacular lighting and i can tell youve got a seriously good setup in regards to camera etc.
tell me for some of these shots you would have to have two people (at least) to make the shots work, who did you get to help you? i like doing a similar style of video and im keen to take it to the next level…

Beauty is in the eye of the photographer; only a lover can capture the essence like that. Even if he is driving on the wrong side of the road going over a blind hill 🙂

Yeah they do that here too 😉

If it is unsafe to pass they just paint a solid line. They paint to many bloodily solid lines to suit me.

Bit of UK nanny state-ege 😉 They’re there suggesting to overtakers they pull back in incase they failed to notice the blind corner or hump coming up in the road. You don’t have these where you’re from? 😉

Sorry, only just seen your comment. Used FCP7 to edit and colour grade, but to be honest, Adobe premiere is just as good, if not better these days.

Cheers, I use FCP7 for this and graded it with the 3 way colour corrector.

Excellent – all those would-be car reporters/ websites could learn A LOT from you – this video showed the car perfectly and made me want to leave my desk and run in search a beautiful country lane to drive all day. Super work.
